Continuous Talking: 2008 album with Jason Barfoot, Jonathan Brain,
Rosemary Halsmith, James Quinton and Sam Scherr

Benedict's fourth album Continuous Talking was released in September 2008. The recordings were made with Alan Smith, with additional mixing by Max Ducker and mastering by Scott Simms. Soon after recording the album Jason Barfoot left the group to concentrate on his two-drummer band Mongrel Country. Lily Sumich took his place behind the kit, and has been playing with Benedict since 2008. Jason was keen to add some double drummer action to the CD launch, so he brushed up on the songs before the show, and set up a second kit onstage, playing alongside Lily.
