Continuous Talking: 2008 album with Jason Barfoot, Jonathan Brain, Rosemary Halsmith, James Quinton and Sam Scherr
Benedict's fourth album Continuous Talking was released in September 2008. The recordings were made with Alan Smith, with additional mixing by Max Ducker. The album was mastered by Scott Simms.
The album runs to nine tracks and features performances by some of Benedict's previous collaborators, as well as some new playing partners. Jason Barfoot plays drums on five tracks. James Quinton of Milkless Fridge plays bass on four tracks. Jonathan Brain adds acoustic and Spanish guitar to two tracks. Rosemary Halsmith plays glockenspiel on four tracks, and Sam Scherr of Capital City adds electric guitar to three tracks.
